suv infant+Baby Carrier (2)Car Seat arrangement?

I have a 98 4DR tahoe that only seats 5 pass. We have a 10mon. old boy and there is a bread baking in the oven(a baby on the way). Can I have my wife sit behind the drivers side rear, the baby in the middle and my other one behind the pass. side? OR do I have to buy another car w/3rd row seating. I’m a pround father and I am willing too(plus I love car shopping!)

I’d put the baby behind the front passenger side and the toddler behind the driver with a space in the middle. This way when they are a little older they aren’t right next to eachother and annoying each other. Mum can sit in the middle and attend to each child or sit in the front with you. There is no need for a third row unless you have more kids. I have a station wagon and this arrangement works perfectly. I have a third on the way so will be mixing things up a bit later on.

Oh, and the reason I would put the baby behind the passenger is because infant rear facing seats or capsules usually take up more space, meaning the drivers seat would have to be moved forward more (if the baby was in the middle or behind driver) which isn’t always appropriate if the driver is tall/er.
